Who you were created to be leads others to Jesus

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9

Who are you were created to be is a unique and specific gift that was given to you by God and for his glory. When he created each and every one of us, he created us with an eternal purpose. He was intentional in designing the way we look, the way we act, the way we talk, and the things we love. This is because when he created us, he knew the kind of person we needed to be in order to impact the people he was calling us to reach.

Every intricate detail of who you are serves an eternal purpose. God has created and chosen YOU to be the light!

I’ve seen this to be true in the way that God has specifically placed people in my life who needed to hear my story and testimony. My brokenness allowed his light to shine through who I am and what I had gone through. The hardships that I faced were the very things that allowed me to share the healing I found in God.

The cool thing about it is that it was so natural to do so because of how specifically God created me to reach those very people. Whether it was a girl on my team, a friend from high school, or even a friend of a friend; those people were placed in my life at a time where they needed to hear what God had done in my life and therefore what he is capable of doing in their life as well.

If I wasn’t who I was and I didn’t go through what I had, I never would’ve been able to reach them in a way to God was calling me too. Again, he is so specific in his creation that even the smallest detail of who you are is an important piece of what God is going to do through you.

In saying this, I want to encourage everyone to fully embrace who you were created to be to the smallest detail. By trying to fit in or trying to act a certain way, you could be missing out on impacting the people God needs you to reach by being who you were created to be.

You were created with a specific purpose that only you can fulfill! Let that be the confidence of who you are. Embrace who you are so that Gods light can shine through you!
