When You Don’t See a Way, God Will Make a Way
One of the most famous stories in the Bible is when God parted the Red Sea so that Moses and the Israelites could escape Pharaoh and his overpowering army.
But what’s crazy about this story is that this isn’t just some story. This actually happened. And the same God who parted the Red Sea is the same God who will make a way for you.
When you don’t see a way- God will make a way. He never fails.
One thing I love about this story is that the Bible says that the Egyptian army brought their best chariots and that there were hundreds of them. But regardless of how many men and how mighty their chariots were, they could not out power God.
Moses knew this truth so deeply in his heart that when hardship came, he trusted God to save him.
Right before the sea was parted, Moses said,
“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance of the Lord will bring you today… The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.”
-Exodus 14:13-14
Moses trusted God even when he couldn’t see a way. His faith and trust in God led to a miracle that truly displayed the faithfulness of God and the glory of God.
Moses’ faith lead others to trust in God as well. As the Bible says, “ when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him…(Exodus 14:31).” His faith deepened his heart for God and it made a way for others to trust God too.
The 2 questions I have for you today are: Do you trust God before you see a way out? And does your faith make a way for others to see the goodness of God?
